It’s the end of an era for Molly’s Revenge. But not the end of the band.
At the end of March, bagpiper David Brewer will be leaving the band he founded 20 years ago on St. Patrick’s Day. We are super sad to see him go — but before he does, we’re planning a big final blowout tour. Our 2020 Piper‘s Farewell Tour will be our biggest and best ever, with dancers at some of the shows. Please come out and help us celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary. We hope to see you at one of the dates listed below!

“Twenty years ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: to pursue music as a full-time career. Founding Molly’s Revenge was one of the avenues that made this possible, and it has been a privilege to be a part of such a successful band for two decades. As a founding member of Molly’s Revenge, I have had the immense honor to tour across four continents, collaborate with incredible artists, and make lifelong friends.
“Going forward, the time has come that I must say goodbye. I am bidding farewell to Molly’s Revenge, and this coming March tour will be my last series of performances with the band.
“While I play and perform on many instruments, I am first and foremost a bagpiper and Scottish music has long been where I find the most musical joy. I will therefore continue to perform with my Scottish band, The Fire, and work as a solo piper. I will also continue to teach workshops and give lessons to private students. The future is bright and I look forward to seeing what other musical possibilities may be in store. I thank you for your patronage, and hope you will continue to support me as an artist, in the quest to bring ever more joy to this world.”
Sincerely, David Brewer

The End of an Era
In these last 20 years, we took the music of our ancestors across the globe, from Shanghai to Glasgow. For us, it was a golden age of laughter and tears, and we will never forget these past years. Members have come and gone, babies have been born, new bands have formed… and one of the kids is already getting up on stage with us from time to time! The idea of Molly’s Revenge that was created by David Brewer, Pete Haworth, George Grasso and Mark Boronkay back in 2000 will not be going away any time soon.
We don’t know exactly what will happen in the future, but Molly’s Revenge will live on. Our Winterdance Celtic Christmas Celebration will continue. Right now we’re listening to our fans and our venues, but one thing is for sure. No one can replace David Brewer!
Fan Appreciation Sale
We think this is a perfect time to show our appreciation to our fans with a big blowout sale on all CDs still in stock. If you’re missing a title or two in your collection, this is your chance to complete your Mollys library. For all CDs at our live shows, the regular price for one CD will remain at $15. But if you buy two or more, all CDs will cost only $10! And if you purchase four CDs, you get one free… that’s five for $40, or only $8 per CD. Don’t miss this sale, only at our live shows for now.
We made an effort to book most of our favorite venues for this tour. We sincerely hope to see you at one of David’s farewell shows!
