These two need no introduction and we can’t think of a better way to ring in 2019 than to host stellar musicians and good friends Stuart Mason (guitar, mandolin, banjo) and John Weed (fiddle) for a cozy house concert. They will regale us with Celtic, oldtime and Scandi tunes so we can start the new year on just the right note. Come on over to Jackie and Mike’s in Carmel Valley (Laureles Grade—I will respond with our address if you don’t already know it). Doors open around 6:30 p.m. on December 31st. We’ll have some chilled champagne waiting for you, bring a bite to share or your libation of choice. Show runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and a jam might break out thereafter, so bring your instrument just in case. Seating is limited and so is parking so car pool if you can. $20 per person suggested donation goes 100% to the musicians. –Jackie
