Molly’s Revenge: Wintersong Free Track Download

cover-cdbabyAnnouncing Wintersong, a collection of Celtic Christmas and winter-themed Celtic music, recorded at a remote windswept retreat in the redwoods of the Mendocino coast in California. These beautiful tunes and songs are performed annually by Molly’s Revenge at their Winterdance holiday shows. The band is joined here by guest vocalist Christa Burch, who possesses a singular voice: warm, supple, expressive, intimate, and instantly recognizable. Part of a vibrant new generation of American folk singers, Christa deftly marries intuitive musicianship and storytelling through song. Release date for the new album has been set for December 1.

For a short time, the band is giving away a free promotional download from the full-length holiday album Wintersong from Molly’s Revenge and Christa Burch. The only thing we ask in return is your email address, so we can keep you posted on band news. Please enter it even if you are already on our mailing list (you will not be sent two newsletters). You will then be emailed a link to download the track.

Molly’s Revenge, whose lineup includes bagpipes, fiddle, whistle, guitar, mandola, and bodhran, have toured extensively in the USA as well as Australia, China and Scotland. The band is known for its unique and infectious enthusiasm on stage . Their arrangements of traditional jigs and reels bring these dance tunes up to date with a driving, hard-edged accent that always leaves audiences shouting for more.
