Songwriters at Play presents Mason Weed. Our first showcase at this award-winning, boutique family winery features award-winning songwriter Stuart Mason and fiddler John Weed. The duo will mix traditional tunes with original songs that explore the musical connections between Ireland and America. Both are members of the well-known Celtic powerhouse Molly’s Revenge, the old-time bluegrass group Little Black Train, and the new trio Story Road. John Weed has lived in Ireland and immersed himself in the traditional fiddling styles. Stuart Mason was born in the hills of West Virginia and has been playing traditional music on stage for over 35 years.
Special guests on April 6 include Amber Cross, Dulcie Taylor, Holly Ann Phillips, Dorian Michael, and Ted Waterhouse. Show runs 1-4pm at Vines on the Marycrest, 5076 Mustard Creek Rd.
